Men’s Fashion Mistakes


There are seven unforgiveable style mistakes that almost every guy is guilty of including me. I used to make every mistake on this list, but I learned my lesson, so instead of you waiting to make these mistakes and learn from them, skip that step. We will go over them so you will exactly know what you have to stay away from.

1.     Flashy Clothes

There is a huge difference between having your own style and being edgy or being different and being too flashy. One of the most common problem I see is the guys wearing too many brand logos or too many patterns, everything you are wearing have a logo on it, t-shirt, jeans, shoes. You are actually looking like a billboard, a walking adds for these brands, especially the ones having huge logos. I am not saying that you should never wear that but take it easy, wear them once in a while.


2.     Wearing Too Many Accessories

Accessories have the ability to make an outfit come together which also means th

ey also have the power to completely kill your outfit.

3.     Flip Flops and Jeans

When should you wear flip flops? To the beach, to the pool, at home and where else? Nowhere else, that is it. If somebody ends up wearing jeans to the breach or the pool, which first of all is not good. The only way to make that worse is by wearing flip flop. Somehow, I still see guys wearing flip flops and jeans, rocking a look. It doesn’t look nice. I promise every girl out there does not like that. If you want to wear flip flops then put on your swim trunks or shorts, and there you go. Probably fixed, no jeans.

4.     Smart Watches with Suits

Another unforgiveable fashion mistake is wearing an apple watch when you are trying to be classy. You are mixing sportswear with formal look and it doesn’t look good. There are so many options for dressing watches but unfortunately apple watch just isn’t one.

5.     Tight Shirts

Here is how you can tell that your shirt is too tight, actually its easy, by wearing extra tight shirt the fabric is going to pull between your chest and also its pulling between your shoulder. There is a huge difference between your slim fit or muscle fit, in way too tight. You can show your hard work but remember that it should not be pulling everywhere, or you are going to look like a grown man in a little child’s outfit.
Look we know, we know that ladies like fit guys, but they really don’t appreciate guys who don’t know how to dress or one who try to appear too snobby or show off.

6.     Quality vs Quantity

Which one is better? Who is the clear winner, quality or quantity? Well I always recommend owning a lot of common basic pieces, like plain tops and basic pieces that are affordable, changeable and easy to match, that’s what I have been doing and that’s the best decision ever. Every dope outfit needs at least one piece that brings it all together and its best to invest in a quality piece than the cheap ones.
If you have to buy a jacket, don’t buy something that fall apart in three months, save up and buy the that’s the best. Also, for the sneakers, buy the best ones, save or work extra hours and buy one you love to wear. So, to me, the way to go is affordable basics so you can get the higher quantity and nice quality items when it comes to standard pieces.

7.     Belt

Last unforgivable mistake is not to wear a belt if you have belt loops. Well like 99% of the times people don’t wear belt here and there depending on the look, let’s just say wear the belt. And yes, matching the shoes and the belt is the real thing, try to get the same belt as brown belt with brown shoes, black belt with black shoes. If you don’t like to wear belts, try to go for the trousers that have strips on the sides so you can adjust the waist size without any need of belt.


Habits Destroying Your Skin

One of the biggest mistakes that men make is not taking care of our skin. Most of us don’t care about it, like girls on the other hand, they know the superpower of skin care so long. Wearing nice clothes is cool but what could it like to be if you skin is filled with acne, pimples, blackheads and sunspots, you need to take care of that. So, we are going to talk about five habits that you need to stop right now to have an amazing skin.

1.    Not Wearing Sunscreen

People are lazy wearing sunscreen or forget or try to get tan so why wear a sunscreen. It took months but I noticed the damage sun was doing to my skin. Once I saw the dark spots, they were permanently burnt onto my face for being in the sun without protection, I immediately bought the best sunscreen and started to apply it every single day that I go out in the sun. It’s so bad for the skin that it can lead to cancer, that’s how bad it is. To make sure that you apply sunscreen every day you outside, you need to the beach apply it on whole body as well, focus on your face and shoulders of course. The sun is bright, beautiful and it feels amazing, but it will also destroy your hands and face.

2.    Lots of Sugar

We eat something with a lot of sugar like cake, candy, chocolates and all the tasty stuff, your body immediately produce more insulin to keep your blood pressure on right track. One thing I notice immediately, when I eat too much chocolate, for example, breakouts, every single time its crazy. So, if you want better skin, go easy on the sugar, plus its easier that way so why not?

3.    Not Washing Your Face Before Bed

We guys have the bad habit going to bed without doing any type of skin care at night. Think about it, you have been collecting dirt particles on your face all day and you are going to bury it into the pillow for eight hours at night, while you sleep. It’s a bad idea.

4.    Squeezing All Zits

I have a confession, I used to pop every single zit on my face no matter how big or small, I didn’t care, I just squeeze them all as hard I possibly could because I’m a guy and that was a huge mistake. Not a fault, I didn’t know how to tackle it better but if you have a huge pimple and you want it to go as soon as possible. Everyone want it, popping it right away isn’t the solution because it will leave scars, can cause infection and it’s not the way to go. Do not pop that zit, wait for it to heal and if for some reason you need to pop it for like you have a date, you have an event, photoshoot coming up and you have that massive pimple of your nose or forehead. This is what you do.
Wash your hands, grab a tissue and then you have to do it not touching the skin but please be careful not to be too harsh and leave any permanent scars because you don’t want that. I will try to write a whole blog on how to clean up pimples soon.

5.    Smoking Cigarettes

smoking, skin care, men healthI hate this habit, I’m sorry for saying it but it’s very gross. Smoking is so bad for you in general and no surprise here, it is also terrible for your skin. The nicotine in cigarettes is going to reduce the blood flow to your skin so now you are not getting enough oxygen and nutrients to your skin. If you are a heavy smoker, its going to show the facts that your skin is going to be thinner, it’s going to be dough and it’s going to be wrinkly, you don’t want that. Smoking is going to increase your skin aging, it’s going to make your skin look older and older, making it more prone to wrinkles, not only your face but whole body that is not a good look so basically every time you lit up it minimizes your skin ability to breath.

These are the only Sid effects of smoking on your skin. What about all the other bad effects that smoking does on your whole body. Drop it as soon as possible, if you are not to drop it for your skin then do it for your lungs, do it for your teeth, do it for your stamina. Try to let it go as soon as you can.

Stop Looking Abhorrent



I will go over, 7 terrible style tips that you may have heard of but makes no sense. People say things without doing any research or thinking for a second about what they are actually saying.  
Making long thing short, here are the seven advices to stop looking abhorrent and avoiding these will make you look different and better than others.

1.    Wear Skinny, Slim or Tailored Jeans

There is no sense that wearing skinny, tailored or slim jeans is feminine or gay or not muscular. The guys who say this are too afraid to try anything but their baggy jeans, their sweatpants or sweatshirts, or their trucker hats. There are so many advantages of wearing pants that hug your legs properly. Baggy jeans don’t look good, they make you look much bigger than you really are and not in a good way. You don’t wear shoes or socks three times bigger than your feet and don’t wear your shirt three size bigger than you really are, and the same goes for pants.


Nice tailored jeans will make you look taller, slimmer and gives off a cool modern vibe, so yes, I would recommend these jeans for every occasion but make sure they are hugging your legs properly. Especially, if you are trying to look a few inches taller and a few pounds lighter.

2.    Expensive > Cheap

Some people say that expensive clothes are always better in quality than cheaper clothes. Wrong, that is definitely not the case. Sometimes it could be true, don’t choose one shirt over another because it is more expensive, because sometimes they are made by the same factory, same machines. One will get one logo and the other will get the other logo, and they will get different price tags.

People like buying high quality leather jackets, shoes and watches but when you are buying a white t-shirt, you don’t need to spend a $100-200, you can find one for $20-40, that will have a great feel and fit. Also, a lot of time a brand start producing high quality items at first but then they downgrade the quality of their products and keep the same price. Be careful, don’t fall for that trap and start to spend all your hard-earned money on something that actually isn’t that great.

3.    Not Wearing A Watch Because You Have A Phone

Why I wear a watch when I have an iPhone X in my pocket? I always wear the watch because I feel so weird when I don’t. wearing a watch makes you look better, more stylish, more professional. It’s a great accessory to add into your outfit.

4.    Wearing Athleisure Everywhere

One trend that I see everywhere nowadays, is athleisure. I love it but some people just take it too far. Do not listen to people who says, you can wear athleisure anywhere. You can see so many people at restaurants or clubs, wearing athleisure. Why? You went to the gym or the hike and you had no time to change which is still kind of dirty if you think about it, there is no reason to wear that to a nice restaurant.
You can wear athleisure to workout, to walk with your dog, to grocery where you don’t require formal dressing but if you are going somewhere nice, dress for the occasion so you don’t feel underdressed.

5.    Clothes with Large Logos

I have seen so many guys buying shirts having crazy big logos on them. I get it sometimes you really want to show off the brand, its really really cool brand right now or it’s a dope logo that you really like but it should be shuttled. You can have few for some specific occasions but fill your wardrobes with basics, like solids t-shirts that don’t have any logos on them. That way you can mix and match your clothes so much better without having to think about it too much.





6.    Don’t Wear Glasses if You Have Perfect Vision

A lot of people say this, but I do not agree with that. It’s definitely not true you can wear glasses if you are trying to look accessorize or more modern, professional and stylish. Grab one of these, put it on and it changes your whole look. The same way you really don’t need a hat when its not sunny or hot outside, but people wear because it’s part of their look.
Don’t wear them every day but if you want to change your look, go for sophisticated style, try this out and you will kill it.

7.    Men Should Not Care About How They Look


People have no idea what they are talking about, it does not make any sense. Do you think girls don’t care what you look like? Do you think that your employer will care if you show up to work looking like crap? Just be, so will they, so should you. Put in some effort and try your best to look presentable, you don’t need to follow the latest fashion trends, you don’t need to be a fashion ester, but you should at least think a little about what you are wearing and why. Try different styles, see what works for you and what gets the best compliment. Think outside the box. Don’t be confined to a single outfit every time you want to go out.

1) Discover your Strength

A leader and all of the future leaders! You must not accept and take the trodden path. To become a leader, you have to face resistance, no one has ever achieved anything, if they haven’t faced failures, if they haven’t had disappointments, if they haven’t had days when they don’t want to wake up, get out of their beds. No one has ever achieved anything.
To achieve anything in life. You have to be prepared, to take on the odds, face disappointment but all of you, do realise that the Almighty has given all of us the tremendous strength, which lies within us. You only discover that strength when you put yourself up against resistance. If you don’t face resistance that strength lies inoperative within you. The moment you take on challenges, you will then start discovering this enormous strength you have in you. So, when you go on the trodden path you will never discover your strength.


2) Analyse your Mistakes

I used to stay up all night thinking ‘God what if I fail!’. One of my first matches which I played in front of my home crowd in Lahore, I went in to bat, the whole crowd on the right side of the pavilion is calling me, THE LION OF LAHORE. All the way, cheering me. All the way to the wicket. The problem in cricket is that in batting you have only one life. So, you can go all the way to the wicket which is almost 70 80 yards away and then be out on the first ball and walk all the way back those 70 80 yards. Which is exactly what happened to me.
Resistance! Setback! Failures!  Are the ways of looking into yourself. Soul Searching! And university education should enable you to analyse your mistakes better than others. You should be able to go to the core of what’s going wrong. Make Amends! And then you always get back much stronger. 


3) Believe in Yourself

It’s you know in anything you do. In life, you have to believe that you are going to win. You can’t think ‘What if I don’t win’, and my mind doesn’t work that way. I believe and it’s my matter of time. You know, one of my colleagues was reminding me, he said, ‘Six years down the line we had one seat in parliament’. And he is driving me, he is just driving me around and saying, ‘Look! Look at this, look at the neglect of this village…they have no drinking water. Look at the state of the road’, and I said, ‘Don’t worry, when we come to power. We’ll fix that.’ And now he tells me is Imran gone mad? We got one seat in parliament but then, you have to believe that. But you got to believe that you are going to win, and I have (believed), one day I am going to win!

You have probably heard that 70% of all communications is the body language. Think before someone even opens their mouth. We already start assuming what they are like just by the way they carry themselves.
How to look confident, attractive and have a respectable body language? This blog will cover everything from your feet to the expressions on your face. I hope by the end you will be sure that why certain type of body languages are good and why certain types are bad.


1) Feet and Legs

You have to make sure that your feet are your shoulder width apart with your toes pointing outward. Why? The rule that comes from body language is that closing up the body is associated with nervousness and fear. If someone is going to hit you, your instinct will be to close your body to cover your organs and genitals. Open body language on the other hand is associated with relaxed, calm and confident. So, having your feet apart and toes pointing outwards is open and while having inwards is closed.


2) Hand and Arms

Do not keep your hands in the pocket, do not cross them, do not have one hand holding the arm of other hand and if you are at a party do not have a drink covering your chest. All of these styles are form of closed body language. So, what should I be doing with my arms and hands instead? Its best to keep your hands at your side, relaxed, even if you have a drink or speaking with someone, you can use your hands to emphasize certain points. 


3) Chest

If you have to ask me about one part of the body that have most influence on how people perceive you, it would have to be the chest. This is actually the area where people have problems with, the most. A lot of us have that rounded shoulders. Our shoulders arc forward, past the neck largely due to our culture that is increasingly depending on computer usage. The ideal way to hold your chest is to have your chest outwards and your shoulders back.
For those of you, who have the problem due to a lot of computer usage there are many exercises that will help you straight your back and fix your shoulders.


4) Head

You should stand straight with your head in line with the rest of your body when you stand straight. Your head should be facing forward, you don’t have to tilt it down as it seems to be submissive, and don’t even tilt it up too much as it seems too arrogant.
The face has a large part on how people perceive you during interactions. There are two things you have to focus on:

a) Eye Contact:

Chances are that you are not making enough eye contact, especially if you are a male. Strong eye contact could be a huge indicator for confidence. You have met people who are totally normal but just could not maintain eye contact. This makes the interaction feel extremely uncomfortable and they come off as very unconfident. They magic ratio you have to maintain 80/20 rule. You have to spend your 80% of the time during a conversation making eye contact and 20% of the time, letting your eye wander. This way you seem very confident, very interested in what the other person is saying but at the same time you don’t have to come up as creepy.


b) Smile:

Do not have one, giant teeth showing smile, plastered on your face 24/7 because it seems nervous. These smiles seem forced and fake instead its best to have a settled grind like you have a good day. This will project an oral happiness, seems genuine and not a forced. It is good to have a smile with your teeth but save it for some special occasions.


5) How to Move Your Body?

The slower you move the more confident you seem. A lot of us are prone to fast fijity movements, we like to touch our face or play with our hands, this shows you are nervous. The reason we want to stay away from nervousness so much is because emotions get transferred, if you are nervous the people you are interacting with will feel uncomfortable as well. They feel as if something is wrong and this hinders your overall likeability.
How slow should we move? move pretty slow without it looking weird just don’t move too slow like you are in the matrix.


6) Space

space, work space, work setupLastly, the more space you take up the more comfortable and confident you seem. When you are at a desk, spread your belongings don’t be afraid of having some space between your phone and notebook but don’t be a guy who takes up three seats to spread his bookbag and jacket. When you are sitting, don’t be afraid with your legs apart. Drape your arms on the chair next to you if its empty, don’t be afraid to open up your body.


That’s it. If you want to be perceived be confident, look more attractive and gain more respect.
